Kiwi Nest was established by two Millennials in the late 2010s. One of the founders was an interior designer from overseas, another one was a marketer for a tourism company. They have been friends and roommates for many years before they decided to rent a couple of their spare rooms on Airbnb.
With their background in both interior design and New Zealand tourism, they decided to combine their knowledge in both areas and delve into the Airbnb market.
The original concept for Kiwi Nest came from their discovery of the possibility of operating Airbnb and their shared excitement to meet new people from around the world.
Since that time, Kiwi Nest has grown quickly and currently oversees rentals for short-term stays throughout the entire Auckland region. We even hired a qualified accommodations manager from a franchising hotel brand to preserve customer happiness and improve the service in light of the significant increase in listings.
